Workers from Shwe Pyi Thar industrial zone demonstrate for improved wages and labour rights on the morning of Feb 17.
Hundreds of labourers walked from Shwe Pyi Thar to Insein T/ship ,led by the workers strike committee. Although their initial plan was to walk to the front of the divisional government office, workers temporarily stopped their walk after negotiation with government officials and employers.
